Thanks Gauss, he produced some great designs. This project really benefited from research. As per the comments I've added a layer of grunge to the textures of the interior. Here's a before/after. I still did not go too far with it but it's enough of a change to add more visual interest to the image.
I REALLY like this asset. It oozes with fun RTS goodness. Only crit would be to add a subtle gradient in the lightmap channel. I see that the roof is made of only a couple of shingle textures, What made you decide to go this route and how did you go about assembling it?
My take on Tars Tarkas of Thark from the Barsoom novels that I did yesterday instead of working on stuff I was supposed to do. I think this one's kind of hard to read, due to all the fiddly bits. And I'll definitely add lighting to the list of things I need to work on.
This is amazing tpoveda! My only question/crit is why did you choose a viking symbol to be used in the cape, shield, and the chains? IMO any sort of abstract symbol would add more to the fantasy of this character. Other than that, its really amazing man, can't wait to see the progress on this!
This is bizarre. How did you get these job titles? Do you know they have specific meanings in this industry? To use these you have to have a resume to back them up. You can't just add job titles you don't really have. This is part of the context of danr's response.
I did a quick test bake on the ground plate to see how it would look in the engine. Just normal and ao atm. Maybe I'am going to add some more modelled detail to it instead of tons of normal mapped detail. How many tris is okay for a ground plate like this?

Did a new model this week. I think I improved a few things. I tried to get more definition bewteen objects, although to really make stuff stand out I would have to add more geo, and I don't really want to go much above this:
I can't stand how it always reverts back to vert mode, regardless of what mode you are in the main window. And when the hell is Max going to finally make the hotkeys match up with the regular hotkeys for move, scale, rotate, etc in the UVW editor?? Did they "add" this in Max 9?
I need help! I have 2 pc. One at home and another one in my province. Is it possible to transfer ANYTIME my license? i did try deactivating but when i click deactivate license it says that i cannot reinstall license in this pc again once deactivated. BTW, I bought DDO. please need help guys. thanks!
