Progress on the pistol. Just started texturing. There were some minor errors in the bake, but nothing obvious enough to matter much, I don't think. Don't worry, there is a trigger. I just forgot to unhide it....
Going with the pirate ship, got the rough block out done, maya 2017 is throwing up errors when I use it. It keeps coming up saying drinit.mel not found. Anyone know what that is?
I reinstalled my drivers problem is still occurring but every time I install my drivers I get an error installing "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable" is this the source of my problem?
I've tried that too. the rotation errors start att the clavicles. I think there might be something wrong with the transformation data somewhere. If anyone wan't to take a look at the scene I'd be glad (greatful) to send it!
hey olli, great work, especially on the normals. i was wondering if u ran into any issues with the bake? bc u have the front and backside overlayed, for example the mag. wouldnt that cause errors on the backside?
Thanks for the suggestion. It helped with the light build error not popping up but without that checked it won't cast any lights onto the landscape mesh that I have.I'm trying to create firefly green lights in matinee.

Got a little more time on this. More blockouts, an initial sculpt on one side of the columns to mess with designs, and a bake on my columns that ended up with some errors I'll have to fix tomorrow night.
wow the sheer level of awesome in this thread is off the scale! My only problem is that most of the images from earlier work are not displaying... I can't see your protoss either! says error not found :(
