Alright everyone, I'm back! So because this week I was just trying to get back into the swing of it after my trip and being sick. I wasn't able to accomplish everyone I hoped to do this week. That being said I did correct some errors I was having. I was able to fix some of the blood decals, now no longer do they reflect…
Fixed it ... well kinda - Haven't tested it but it compiles now. I had to comment out some math in the Translucency lighting model function. Might looked borked. //==============================Info===============================/*Soft Light Skin Shaderrelease 1 (First public release)History: - R1 (10/05/2006): Initial…
I personally would look into making the wrap more natural in the High Poly. Authentic sword design in LOTR lore and in medieval era's, would use heavy leather strips that would be wrapped and riveted onto the handle usually. Right now you just have ridges. I think with the hilt usually being the most decorative part of…
Texture process looks solid. The idea is neat. The design is a bit messy. It looks like the wraps were sloppy put on all over the place. Centralizing the wraps in the grabby area will also help separate the wraps from the handle wood base too. Right now it blends in. When you zoom out things just sort of get mashed…
now nothing , it was just a bad extrusion of one of the stripes wrapped arount the sticks.... But I sincerely think that this is not the best way of making a wrapping around something ... what woud be the best way or approach considering also 33dsmax and not just zbrush? I have tought of spline paths but is not that easy…
#Update I have finalized the proportions and completed the clothing design using Marvelous Designer. For the headgear, I attempted to wrap the fabric around the base shape in Marvelous Designer, but I wasn't achieving the desired results. Therefore, I decided to use curves in Blender to create the headgear. Current…
Hi again Here is another quick one, hopefully an easy question for a skilled modeler. I am creating LODS for CryENGINE, so I'm simplifying the helicopter model by stripping out elements and objects. What puzzles me is that when I delete something, then hit 'undo'... the surrounding parts of the model start to look…
Hi! @fairlyBread nice progress on the texturing :+1: Imo totally fine to continue working on it after the deadline, hope you get around to finish it. It was a pleasure working on the challenge alongside you, until next time :) That bake issue is curious :-B Could try if triangulating that area fixes anything (if you…
Updates Hey Folks, been getting busy with Chunnerz these past few days. It was nice seeing it on Arstation: I've made a number of the changes to Chun Li from the feedback mentioned above. First of all been using texturing xyz to get those nice surface details and noise on her face. Once this was projected through the…
[ QUOTE ] So, what do we do about it? Hunt them down and kill them or put them behind bars? Or do we try to understand them and their reasoning and negotiate with them... [/ QUOTE ] [humor] We load up busses full of crash test dummies dressed up in thier sunday best, or perhaps nuns. Park these busses in the middle of some…
