Let freedom sing! lol Kinda feels like a lit is going on with her especially those tattoos. Maybe fade them to show they've been there for a while. Not too bad at this point, keep it up! :D
I got the Wildfire version from some Magazine CD. The freedom you got and the heap of weapons is quite fun. I did not bother about the story much but neverless spent several hours playing it.
I would love a theme that was not set into a 'genre' but focuses on a style. Like if the theme was 'Silhouette' or 'colour' or 'freedom' Though that shit seems more like something cgtalk would do :p How about 'Mounds'?
the us government has more important things to be worrying about than "empowering parents" by making dumb shit illegal. the less control over general freedoms the government has, the better. hillary clinton is a bimbo.
Give your own spin to the work. Since the concept focus more on mood and atmosphere, you have more freedom to add, or change your 3d models according to your own understanding of the concept art.
COD is about 1024x640 with 2xAA and the levels are quite linear. Actual player freedom in Rage is still a question, but it definitely is a continuous open world (or two if they ship on two discs, but you get what I mean).
I should note that one of the programs on that list, Freedom Force vs the Third Reich, only has this stuff on the European version. And it's not Irrational Games who put it there, it's their European distributor, Digital Jester or something like that.
That's not necessarily a bad thing. It's good because it will allow you to have some creative freedom and create something more vivid and detailed than the concept based on your own subjective interpretation. In the end it will still look like the concept, but better.
hehe, my thoughts about hiring peeps from animated features exactly. saves me the rant. cheers. ;) anyway, perhaps there is more freedom to be had in games but as a character artist you will get subjected to plenty of http://hoveringartdirectors.tumblr.com/ regardless.
Nice bake, the small details came out quite clear. You could have the pillar sections as a separate object, it might give you more freedom with placement and you could re-use it somewhere else in your scene.
