I guess I'll give this ago. I've been wanting to actually do more 3D stuff after going through a month of learning it everyday and burning out. This should be a good way for me to learn the basics in an interesting way!
I pretend to work on that, really I just come into the office everyday for the free breakfast. KDR - publishers determine what platforms a game is released on, its sucks but only Jade Empire hasnt been released on to PC so far...

BlenderGuru and FlippedNormals stuff is pretty great and straight to the point but I'm not really sure what can you accomplish in 3 weeks. anatomy first, also take some life drawing courses, local community colleges are awesome for that, or you can see if there's a doctor sketchy's around you http://www.drsketchy.com but the most important thing is to try to draw something everyday.
