...when i was a kiddo, I lost my grandmother's letter opener while pretending it was a throwing knife. (antique made of silver and pearl) ...needless to say, the near death experience was centered more around the end of a belt than a laceration stemming from the misuse of a bladed tool.
Thanks for your detail answer Oglu, bifrost looks interesting, but not clean / mature enough imo to compete with DOPS and to justify to learn a new dyn solver. That would be sweet to be able to manipulate bifrost as a standalone solver like naiad to avoid the extra weight of Maya and to fasten the solves. Well the good…
Great tech/art, as is to be expected. But at the same time, isn't it still taking place on Mars, aka the red planet? Where's the red? Its all so blue and silver, like any other generic sci-fi movie that takes place on earth :(
DD2.. *A* I'll slice open my chest and give them my heart on a silver platter. Dragon's Dogma is one of the very few game I really.. REALLY enjoyed in recent years. Also +1 for not being able to wait for Dark Arisen. =]
Yep I had the same issue. So in the end I had to go with a Bamboo Capture :( Shipping to Asia was exhuberantly expensive or they didn't ship at all, I forget. At least the Capture has that wireless connector dock I suppose. Silver linings.
Different light wavelengths reflect differently. compare the graph of silver: http://refractiveindex.info/?shelf=main&book=Ag&page=Rakic to copper: http://refractiveindex.info/?shelf=main&book=Cu&page=Rakic Red light = 0.650, blue light = 0.475
I ended up purchasing a bunch of games for friends, along with a second copy of CSGO (which is worth the $7.50!) Nothing more fun than running around with only a deagle while you watch the silver/unranked people try their hardest lol.
blue paint would benefit greatly from higher gloss and a cubemap. for the brass parts, i'd also push the saturation more on the spec. you might also consider toying with making certain sections of it silver so the shapes stand out more.
Something about the level up hud screams sci-fi to me. Maybe it's the font or the use sharp silver progression shapes. Yes, more shots. When it comes to images for games I'm interested in I'm the man who seeks them out.
textures are awsome tho, but as everyone says, jaw looks wide...or u can fill his mouth with silver, and make him "jaws" from james bond and it would be perfect! =) edit...where in NY u from? from queens myself =D
