When I connect the train to a path constraint, the pistons flew else where in 3D space. As you can apparently see, near the top left hand corner is where the piston is at in perspective view while the train is on the spline. I was basing the animation concept from this bonus chapter on "Rigging the Hudson" by Chris Harvey.…
@Thanez Hello!! thank you so much for resolve my question, I know I´m little bit a picky person jeje. jaja don´t worry I can wait, and yeah for sure! I´m interested. So Thanez let me share you another problem it suppossed to be easy but still I´m having problems… first I´m aware that I can resolve it with te boolean…
Uhm, actually model created in 2 parts, shell and a regular sphere inside. Because they have got float distance between (doesn't touch each other), it's not a negative extrude/bevel seam. Yeah, but modeling steps is similar. * Start with a sphere 32x. +Editpoly modifier * Select some loops, chamfer edges (in max chamfer a…
Ionic Columns having a few issues. Real quick I tried to merge some of the photos to lessen the amount pics uploaded. Also, on the column part question, So I could get a little bit of a preview I made the instances while modeling that detail. So that hard edge isn't part of the problem. (Pointed out with blue arrow) I’m…
Hi, please could anybody advise. I have two issues on my model. Problem 1 can be seen in the 1st 3 pictures where i'm getting some picning once Turbo is applied. I'm struggling to terminate these polgons on my lowpoly so that when a turbosmooth is applied i don't get pinching throughout the model. I know this isn't a tough…
Trev: Suggestion for your tyres. NOTE: I screwed up the patterning so they don't line up right, but the process is sound. Model the tread gash straight across the tyre surface. Just do one section. Looking at some other reference for that tyre model there are 10 harley logos around the edge, making them spaced 36 degrees…
Steps is similar, don't have to reapeat whole again. Your method seem isn't easier in last steps, maybe longer than. And I ask about boolean afterward... And can you tell more about these steps - What about 9 and 10? It doesn't seem show any useful info (?) ... it'd be better if u spend time make a example for these steps.…
Posted this in your thread Tycho, hope its of help. Stuck it in here for keeps sake too. Step 1: create a plane completely flat, with your shapes cut out of it. I started with a rectangular spline, filleted the edges and extruded from there then just duplicated along. If you start with a spline the curve should be perfect…
Hello, I cannot start new threads as of yet, so I hope this is a good place to ask my question. I am marking out my base topology plan on the physical object I am modeling. This is the door to an Audi R8. So the white lines are either heavy curves or creases / open border edges. The red arrows point to where my main edges…
what's the problem? Does the HP smooth bad? do you get pinches? etc etc. Main reason i'm asking it's because, if this i a hp which you will bake down, if it smooths good move on. Are you getting pinches? are we getting close to the object to see the small pinches? Make the main shape without any indents or extrudes. Later…
