LOL and pregnant too! Ain't I the male chauvinist pig! Very good model. Although I'm not sure about the texture on the sword it blends two much with her uniform. Almost as if both are the same color.
Have you tried treating the big monster like you would a building? If you have the tech to use multiple materials, and some blending, you can get enough detail for what you are looking for.
brutal contrast and overuse of blooming. Thr colors build to much contrast they dont blend well with each other - each face or color seems to scream at its own. Smal size and a bit random composition.
this would totally work for a woman, no need to change anything but maybe you could revise the shoulder region a bit, it kinda blends to much into the upper arm, but thats just a thing for human like characters in general
Yeah...now that I took another look at it...the eyes look healthier compared to the rest of the head. Blind him or make it more albino along with some shadows on the eye will make it blend in instead of popping out.
Blend out the seam and don't shift too much details ot the other side...basically what you are doing now is bringing out what you shouldn't be (Seams) Even them out first.
@ nick 2730.. you can do that by just creating a decal.. a flat plane of geometry w/ a set opacity mask..in his case, rust.. so you can place it and blend it pretty much anywhere..
Thanks Guys ^_^ Yep, The tiles are just meshes designed to blend in with the ground, and the chunks of earth below the tiles were baked with rayfire. The rest is just a bunch of complex physics sims. This tool is going to change everything.
wow spacemonkey, thats an awesome design!! I like the head part blending with armour very much!! I would love to be able to select this guy as a custom model in Unreal tournament III. Great work.
Transmographier for Max is kind of similar to Reflection in Maya, live symmetry without changing the vertex count/order. Free for personal use, and only $20 for commercial use. Works well with morph targets/blend shapes.
