Hey man, this is a really good idea. I would definitely make it possible to set hotkeys though. I have some freelance work lined up where I will be making a bunch of guns. I'm going to give this a try for sure. Thanks!
Ooop, sorry for the delay: thanks for your comment, guys! @Kryzon: Something between 4 or 5 days? I must confess I made these houses on my free time, in the evening, when my freelance work was finished. Here are more concepts!
Blender is great for indie work, especially at the price. It's biggest fault is import/export. This is one of the main reasons studios don't use it. It's more than adequate for building assets for your indie game, but you may have compatibility issues with freelance work.
I was introduced to it back in 2009 for a freelance gig. Ended up jumping ship from console games to browser games after I was offered a job doing browser games. And like everyone else, I'm making my own games at home with it.
I worked on a comic book called 'Captain Fantastic and the wonderboys.' thank god it never made the light of day haha, the plot was ridiculous......and I got swindled :( Theres tons of environment freelance gigs out there that look kindly on character art experience :)
no money, and a stockpile of oatmeal. the beginning of year bonus was tiny, about 1/3 of what i usually get, so i had to go by on what i earned freelancing models. which was enough to pay rent, and a quarter month of proper food.
Em. People seem confused it's his first job. But guessing from that statement maybe he's been working freelance for a while and this is the first on-site job. Skills are there so I would be surprised if he wasn't earning from them.....Congrats on the job!
Ok maybe not the best place to ask, but after finishing with a contract gig I was using max there. Now i'm thinkign of going freelance and it's time to buy some probs but max is a bit expensive, so I was thinking of moving to Modo... Yay or nay?
yay i love fire drills. theyre freelance work for an indie game, allowed to post but cant tell more :-Z, eventually when its in a published form (or demo) then ill post a link yeah deffinatly gonna have fun with this scheme
I've only dabbled with uvmapping and I didn't really mind it that much. I made a few ships for Freelancer, and it went pretty quick after getting the hang of Wings3D and uvmapperpro (Which no one mentioned). Hey does any here use UVMapperPro?!?!
