I hope so, still a long way to go yet though so also baking down the windows and smaller details now for the buildings left is 34 faces and the one on the right is just one face on a plane baked with x normal :)
they don't provide the cryexporter for 3ds max 2015 with the free SDK anymore because it wasn't ready at that time According to Cry-Adam you also need at least CryEngine vers. 3.6.x for the files exported with 3ds max 2015 to work
Mark, always coming in with the wisdom. Yeah I think I was using diameter not radius. Looked double size. Im setting up the wheels and tires along with two lines one on X and one on Y to properly size my frame.
update to the anatomy quick refrence board to show what im roughly going for and an update on how he looks dressed all clthes are only at subd 3 detail there is a lot more work to be done on them :) all crit welcome x
Cars are very difficult to create and maintain. I'd imagine it would be beneficial for drivers in the long run if Car Manufacturer X eventually eliminated all but one of their car models so their engineers can focus on improving a single car model. :poly121:
...That is probably what happened, I was using maya and did duplicate special with -1 on x-axis ( I think) And thanks! :) I thought I'd try and go with the view that everyone besides Beauty sees in the Beast, so evil and scary is perfect.
Pretty sure I got that part, but I'll double check. EDIT: Yup, set to Normal compression and LOD group is WorldNormalMap. It's like something's scrambling the X and Y directions in various spots, and tossed out the Z depth for good measure...
a little refinement + facial hair added. there's still some polygons left in the hair budget for extra strands and to remove noticeable kinks - but that's for post x-mas! thinking of making it all longer down the neck, for extra 80's style points.
Utterly opposed to it, except for people under a certain IQ, or all children in Leith between the ages of 11 and 16 who hang around outside Tescos on Poundwise. And people who walk too slowly. And people who watch X Factor.
you can search through your 3dsmax.ini file and change the x/y coordinates for the panels. I've had to do this a few times in the past, it's not to bad. Easier than getting everything the way it was before if you delete the .ini file altogether.
