I never knew that it is considered sloppy, that's a new thing to hear about. I have almost always seen people using the dynamesh workflow extensively using polish to eliminate the low poly details. Thanks for the tip. -

As I understand it its just a higher spec DSi with the games having that tracking 3d effect mandated. Will probably have to wait till E3 to know if thats the extent of it. -

Yes ;) Jeff Parrott, Kelvin S Tan and Ryan Ribot are artists that use extensively 3D Coat in their production pipeline. There's also the official YouTube Channel of 3D Coat. -

Get a chrome extension called "I'm a gentleman". It allows you to bulk-download images from any website or go one by one, even images that are protected somehow. -

Yeah normal maps are completely useless in VR.The illusion does not hold even a medium distance, it looks like splashes of paint. Paralax works to some extent though. -

delete your 3dsmax.ini file (or rename the extension to something clever, like .bak, .old, .wtf, .gay, .etc). that contains all your preferences and non-default settings.
