Hey! Thanks for the suggestions! Made some changes: Haha it's funny you thought of Hella, she's part of my reference! :) I'll probably stick with a hair mesh for this sculpt, though I have heard cards can give better results. Yeah I haven't been sticking with the concept too much, for the armor I'll go back to it though.
Great progress, can't wait to see more detail :D Only thing I'd change is the belly and make part of the leather armor (but darker leather). At least that's the feeling I get from the concept art. Though the design you show is quite coherent with ingame looks and even GW1 norns (always liking to show a lot of skin). Best :)
^ Agree with teh dur23 ^ The other bad part about making an art test too public, is you might get some artists who are completely prepared for it, possibly having completed a large portion of the test already. Or anything else that would put a candidate in a better situation than another candidate who is unaware of what…
Dude do something else. This is rather played out already. I have seen way too many of these and honestly it's not very interesting. You want to do something nice and challenging that will look good in your portfolio. Pick up the Gears of War Art Book and model a gun, vehicle, or part of a scene in there. That will catch a…

hi guys! Just adjusted a bit! This is the newest update so far: To busy these days so i have to pass on some parts!! There is more but i dont think they're necessary to show haha
Here's were i ended up with the truck part of the model. I think it turned out all right but i'll come back to it in October to clean it up with some fresh eyes. This was a fun challenge and i'm looking forward to this months.
Great stuff! I noticed that alot of the fine details of your buzzard high poly didn't transfer over to the low poly. Was this a intentional choice or a resolution issue? I am assuming part of the rendering and style of BL flattens those details out a bit. Oh and eff the buzzards! Hate those bastards.
