Hello I have recently started using ddo and wanted to add a subtle but crisp reflection to another material... I noticed when adjusted the gloss parameter for a sharper reflection the reflection is distorted... Im guessing its something Im doing wrong but have no clue what is going on... any help would be greatly…
So .. I recently picked up the challenge of modeling a robot as big as the one from Titan Fall. I did use it as a reference of course but then decided to add some of my own stuff to it. Tell me what you guys think. So far I've finished the legs. This is a WIP after finishing day 2 of this project.
See a lot of chatter about: The Quad Remesher add-on for Blender is developed by Maxime Rouca , same dude people saying made the zbrush one, so perhaps that might be a go to for some people. I find it a little therapeutic to do it manually (i know "madness right".) Yeah sure do it in maya, i do not use it but perhaps some…
Thanks for the feedback! Great point and I'll keep that in mind for further floor options. We are still adding more props! and did a switch to HDRP, still working on lighting, it needs to behave with the outdoor sun/moon light as well.
actually i did this piece from this concept .. so i felt not changing it too much in order to tribute the original artist.. what your thoughts on that? should i change it and add my own stuff on it or some what stick to the concept? thank you for your feedback
scripts more scripts, you can do anything with scripts but autodesk can't do anything on its own. Did 2010 even add ANYTHING? Perfect file compatibility with older versions of maya makes me question whether these things are actually being updated at all.
ahh those epic faces! yes i did originally want to do them, but went in favor of a redesign to fit more with the developing style, but may add another more interesting piece to replace the one in between the waterfall to bring some more visual interest to that area.
Hey again, Sorry about that did not know how to add more images to the post. some screenshots from marmoset toolbag. Also planning to post marmoset viewer file on artstation. Had a lot of fun in this challenge, hope to see you guys work for the next challenge.
To add to this, if you click the MMB while the tool is active it will redo your last operation with the tool, kind of like pressing 1 in zbrush. If you did an extrusion of 1 cm, and hit MMB it'll repeat it. You get used to these keys really fast and it's very intuitive.
After a bit of fighting with merging texture sets, I have an update for my pumpkin man. Next up, rigging and posing. I'll also need to add the huge lance at some point. @Kiraitul How did you do the pattern on the coat? It looks really good.
