Decided to take Hellboy a bit further to practice on texturing clothes a bitl. Minor update for now, but there should be more on the Predator and some other characters soon.
did some improvements to clothing, increasing the tightness around shoulders, smoothing out creases etc. More hard surface detail and straps in certain areas..
When it comes to the cloths, it might be worth making everything that is separate in real life into separate subtools. Then model around those. It will give it a more crisp look.
Spend more time focus around the joints. Especially the shoulders. It's harder to get right, and more important than ab muscle that will usually be covered by cloths.
Here's another wip tutorial by konras. Its about sculpting cloth with a metal border. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1975020&postcount=11068
