Still chipping away at stuff. Clothing practice - Need to do the arms still. Some initial bakes and lowpoly for the bonemold armor - Need to fix the edge of the skirt and add some more geometry to the shoulder armor.
Try what I suggested initially. In your example, you would select the one face that is on uv set 2 and copy it to uv set 1. Edit: Then you can just delete the 2nd set.
Really strong and well executed work Chris. Part of me does wish the end result kept the softer lighting and colour palette from the initial image though. Either way the final piece is awesome.
Well, not easy to use, but whats in demand. In other words what is the majority uses besides the initial softwares such as 3ds max, zbrush, photoshop, Maya, XSI, motion builder, mudbox, etc. I'll check the wiki.
Nice concept and good initial blockout but the feet are awkward at the moment, in the concept they ar both in the same place, it is the clip things that are in different positions on each foot, if you know what i mean. Hope that helps.
This initial learning of a package ya sure a video can help a lot. But once you already know your shit, and am just looking for a new way to approach a problem. Text is much more efficient.
Agreed , I definitely straied a bit from the weight I had initially, I need to get back in somehow , thanks for the heads up This is the current state of the beastie, hope it`s getting better haha
I remember seeing some videos of this game running and it seemed to look more like an xbox1/ps2 game than what the initial screenshots looked like. So how does the game actually look?
I can't seem to achieve what I'd like with that idea, and I'm starting to have less and less time to work for the contest. So, I'll just keep working with the initial idea, but probably tweak it a bit. :)
Speedy sculpt I wanted to spend a little more time on. Based on Ian Carmichael from Ealing Studios comedies. Not an exact likeness as I deviated a bit. Initial speed sculpt: http://vimeo.com/117311256
