How did you blend the 2 textures, the grey and the white? It looks very blurry and rather meh - If you look at real sharks, the change is a lot more sudden and blotchy, and not as soft. If you've got them as 2 layers, with 1 layermask in Photoshop, you can quite fast fix it by applying a filter to the layermask I think.… -

Ha! Cool idea @_adamturnbull , glad the rig is holding up. Digging the animation, love the idea of releasing the swords to fire the guns! I'd suggest a bit stronger pose on the first sword swipe to screen R, just seems soft. Also, maybe adding a spin in there as he jumps or up or comes down, adding a bit more flair/texture… -

Its looking nice, concrete can be difficult to sculpt, but the rougher break-aways are looking pretty convincing. I'm a little unsure if the interior pillar is supposed to be the same material (concrete) because it seems to be broken away so cleanly around it. This is a really good start. I would say if you want to push it to the next level I would look at some reference of some real buildings. Also on things like the pipe running up the building, make sure to use soft edges to give it a rounded appearance even though it doesn't have many faces. But keep up the good work and… -

Did some work on her tattoo-thingies. I think they look alright for now but may readdress later. Unsure about the placement of the forehead one but I think after she has eyebrows it'll be easier to tell. Knocked the emissive off for now - think I need to find a more elegant way of adding it rather than just painting it on… -

Today I've been working mostly on getting my grass looking okay. I made some high-poly grass and then rendered them out, then I also set up the grass-foliage shader for the scene. Looking really cool so far. Right now I feel that the brow is too pronounced for a female it doesnt really have that soft curve that the female brow has to me, if that makes sense. Also I think the waist is a little too narrow i would say widen it up just a bit. Really awesome stuff though cant wait to see her done.:) -

Fbx export has options for exporting normals, binormals etc. Make sure they're all ticked - I'd expect different issues if that want working though In all likelihood maya is being a dick. Make sure history is cleared, unlock your normals, redo your hard/soft edges and clear history again before export. If that doesn't fix… -
