Got my model working substance painter. Still getting use to how substance texture. I did a normal bake out of Painter but have issue around the eye. Played around with the Front and Rear distance, but doesn't seem like it have any effect. Would it be how I have my UV layout? -

7) Axis Center = Local, Axis = origin. Macro that to a hotkey, I use alt+v. Actually that's the oldschool way, they added an Align button in the UV layout for this, as well as the Rectangle button. 8) bind a key to uv.sewMove disco true . Yea, not to be an ass, but I'm really not that much of a fan of the shirt design. The font, the layout... not workin for me. I say we commission peppi or hawken or some other graphically minded member to redesign it. edit: shit i meant qubism. But yea, I love his work, but if made the shirt design... well just not my thing? -

There are a couple of ways you could include AO into tiling assets.. the 'pricier' way would be to use a second, unique texture layout and multiply an AO map over your tiling texture. Alternatively, look into baking AO into the vertex colors of your mesh - how good this looks will depend on the number of verts you have,… -

The grass really stands out to me as being unnatural. It looks like little green spikes instead of natural foliage. The layout/composition could use some work as well. At first, my I can't decide on what to look at, as every prop is spread out evenly around the scene. Looks really cool aside from that :) -

So another update! Nothing huge, just more stuff and so. :) Layout is WIP, just as just about everything else. Just put some stuff in the room for now. ^^ Very WIP room as well. Will be a work room later. A wip highpoly picture frame. A teak table. Please lemme know what you think! -

Layout is fine, screenshots/renders are tiny. Might want to up the rez on those, when you click em. A lot of the detail in them gets lost, imo. :P Also, I'd include the COH(V) stuff. They might look "bad" now, but for the standard back then, not so much. If nothing else, it will show your progress as an artist. -

Good looking scene Odium. Only think I would suggest is editing the paper decal a little bit. After seeing the wire frame, and then looking at the original, the 'squareness' of the decal is very apparent. Removing a few of the papers from the texture to give a move random, non-square layout should help. Other than that,…
