This is so true, I'm laughing here! But all that you guys are saying is also true, we have to keeping working hard because that is the only way that it will worth what we want in future.
awesome layout Haz-man, when you do future updates, are you going to replace stuff or shrink the main/middle pic down? Or just add to a new row and break the grid?
Ah I see what you mean now. This video by Future Poly explains texture planning really well. Highly recommend. [ame] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwZyGoxqh2Y[/ame]
Was someone pointing a gun at you and threatening to shoot unless you could do a postprocess or something? :P Anyway, no problem. I hope I'll find a use for the shader myself in the future too...
Hey thanks guys, I strayed away from the front view concept and followed the side view more. Going un-symmetrical is a good idea, and I'll definitely go that route in the future.
Hopefully they include the mines at the battle of Messines. Naval warfare could prove to be a massively fun experience as well. It will be interesting to see if they include future WW2 names like Patton and that guy with the tiny mustache.
Big smile! This is good to know I always thought that wouldn't be the case, so glad I was wrong. I just dabble into It for fun from time to time so glad to know this for the future. :)
Alright, I'm gonna return this one to WIP status :) i really want to get better at this, especially in the rendering phase. Thanks guys almighty_gir and Wormo. Expect some updates in the near future..
Some progress for today. From the gameplay perspective, the hallway is a checkpoint where the player will be able to save / refill on supplies before heading into the quarantine zone, this explains some of the current / future design choices
I really dont want to rig and skin my char again but PuppetShop looks very interesting, i think i will use that for the future. But there need to be a way to get around that biped bug!? :(
