This is actually a rather involved question. You certainly have the right idea about how to go about it. Using multiple UV channels you can get a ton of mileage from repeating patterns for clothing with the normal map affecting one and the tile (plaid for example) on the other which will save you in the end on texture… -

This project changed a lot, don't know if I should post a new thread. Anyways my plan was to make boat model and finish it. And then maybe use it in some game. (I need something finished to portfolio). But before I finished model I started coding also. My initial plan was some kind of RTS/RGB hybrid. But I made boat too… -

Andrew maybe your right, however I need yet to see 3 star hated item accepted into the game, because right now some quality items have 3 stars because they were pushed away into the depths of the workshop by initial hate never to be upvoted again. Apart from it what I suggest is to have everything ready while uploading… -

@ArNavart - No problem at all! For your question, you might not like the answer I have. Personally, I scroll past these types of pieces when reviewing character art candidates. While the skills of understanding anatomy and translating that in your art certainly isn't lost, it just doesn't have much bearing on the job… -

White BG colour is fine: http://pioroberson.com/ Apart from your "logo", don't use images to display text. Pick a system font, or use an openly licensed webfont, but don't use images. It's lazy, it's not really friendly, and it'll bloat your site needlessly. Internet speeds may be faster than ever, but it's still wasteful.… -

First off, I would get rid of the giant FOX Logo you have there. I think it is just a distraction, and doesn't do your work justice tbh. The other thing I sort of have a problem with are you scenes are just too random to me. Like its difficult to judge if they are well done, because they are all highly fictional type… -

a site and a resume is whats pretty much required to have to get a job, usually a site with a portfolio is all it really takes, resume is kinda secondary, they'll look at it if your work is good. now its not a complete necessity but all the other junk WILL get you noticed easier etc, having something physical laying around… -

I would have your main page as your gallery, its what employers will want to see first anyway. the colors and font of the site as already mentioned need work. As for the work it self, you need to put up pics in better quality, right now most of them suffer from bad compression artifacts. Also, I'm running a widescreen…
