Couldn't have said it better myself. This game looks absolutely horrible to me because of the animations. I think they were going for that old school MK animated style, but to me it just looks like crap and it's a total turn off when SC4 is out and Tekken6/SF4 are on the way. -

This is absolutly retarded. Trauma generated massive PR for the Battlefield franchinse with DC and now they get fucked for it? Exellent decision DICE, now just make Battlefield 2 even more confusing to mod than BFV and you are truly doomed as creators of anything worthwhile. Enjoy the EA money. -

@Lankus Maximus: Thanks! :) I just had a very strict limit with those cars: 6k for muscle car and 2.5k for the SUV. They will be used in a mobile game, which is currently in a development. -

in my experience, the main three are: placing objects placing object generators (spawn points, sfx etc) drawing splines for AI (enemy paths, racing lines etc etc) -

Looking great, really good lighting so far. If you take SF's advice I don't see where you could go wrong. Already you have a leg up on most of the alley portfolio pieces floating around but considering what was mentioned it all sounds like awesomeness waiting to happen. Yeah, there's a number of cars I don't see there (see previous posts I've made). I think instead of pissing away time on things like a Prius, Tesla, or pickup trucks / suv's, they could've better spent their dev time on a wider range of cars (especially the rare, more eclectic ones). -

Such specific denial. Noesis isn't "mainly" used to open SMD files (there's many other tools for that including Blender)... obviously Noesis is used to get those stolen SCV, MVC3 and other games model possible, and i've seen the (rather facepalmy) gmod community port from XNALara conversions before. -

What do you guys have to say to me making a couple of max viewport shaders for you to use to test out any normals or textures you have... i can drop the .SFX file into the folder for use. Or are we just doing straight up modeling, no next gen stuff? -

Great to see an update and looking great! Not sure how far along you are on sound design, but the ship engine SFX sound a little too big to me. Looking forward to playing this someday.
