Don't want to disappoint you, but 350$ is nothing really, if you want to use substance applications. A decent videocard which is really needed for these, are around that price.Especially for a laptop, which is more expensive in general, than a desktop. But, maybe someone else can give you some pointer. -

I'd try to go with GTX 750 Ti/GTX 660 and i3 if possible. The GTX 750 Ti can run off a 350+ watt PSU. -

3.1 was a free update, too, but they raised the price up around $150 bucks for a new license. I'd expect the big jump to 4.0 to do similar. -

We're already looking into that, it's part of the QT5 port that is already underway and will be in Krita 3.1(which what this kickstarter is for as well on the 'features' side). That said, you will lessen our burden by donating and making sure we have enough money to spend more time developing and less time worrying ;) -

Ah the grip's all subject to change ATM, but I based it loosely off the COP 357 Derringer: I'll probably put up a Marmoset Viewer once I've done a preliminary pass on the whole thing. Definitely too chunky at the moment now that I look at it again, cheers!
