@AlecMoody : Thank you! Yes we will definitely release Q1 2018 on steam early access. We are a bit behind schedule. Originally it was planned to release in 2017, but it will be late January / early February 2018.

The '2018' name on Steam is purely cosmetic to diferentiate it from previous versions and it will be called 2018 all along the coming year. It still is the same version as the standalone builds.

Hey everyone I seem to get an error whenever trying to create a new boolean operation in 2018. Documents/maya/2018/scripts/DcBoolManager.mel line 45: No object matches name: It'd be great if anyone had a solution for this.
I believe you will find these located under: Library/Preferences/Autodesk/maya/2018/scripts where 2018 can be replaced by whatever version you have installed. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I "think" it's correct. :sweat:

I find a very simple solution from this video #3DQuickTips 010 - Maya - Power of Snaps, at around 00:15:17. Which is essentially selecting 2 points from the object you want to make parallel to another object, also select two other point to the object you want to refer to, then go to:
