I appreciate the help Kwramm, I'll make sure to poke you if I get stuck. I'm currently installing FlashDevelop, hopefully I'll have a panel made this evening. :) Edit* I thought it would be easier with the installation. If I have FlashDevelop installed, what do I not have in regards to make a Flash panel for Photoshop?…
Ok so my material tool isn't finished yet. I failed my own personal deadline because I've been moving furniture around and been cleaning for the past two weeks (helped dad move out his stuff from his apartment, then moved in my stuff because I'm now renting it). Either way, I promised you a screenshot about 2 weeks ago -…
Figured it out :) Got my FreeImage setup so it unloads the bitmaps properly as it creates the cache. So Ram usage goes up for each image, but as the image is converted to a thumbnail, it gets removed from Ram. So ram usage should be nice and low now in the end :). Also, I think by changing some things, it seems like images…
Hi, I'm not sure if this is even needed at this point, but a colleague of mine wrote me a script a while ago that does the clicking for you. macroScript Macro9 category:"Scripts That I Frequently Use" toolTip:"Smart Stitch"( global globDialogTitle = "Stitch Tool" global globDialogButton = "OK" function closeStitchTool = (…
Here is a little tool i made for PhotoShop that should make working with PBR materials easier in PhotoShop. psMaskSync What it does, is take the layerSet mask of the currently selected layerSet and copy it too all layerSets with the same name. I find this usefull for working with a PBR workflow in PhotoShop, since i work…
Remember this ? :) Well, with the help of Passerby (which created a python API script to call a native raytrace fucntion for maya) I was able to improve the tool. Now it's perfectly smooth ! :) I'm currently working on it to allow the suppression of faces, the extrude of edges and the merge of some vertex when there are…
@throttlekitty Am I interpreting this correctly?: "...an object that has multiple per-face materials". Are you saying, for example, that you have a face on an object that has two materials assigned to it at once, or are you saying you have an object which has multiple materials assigned to different faces (but still only…
That's the point. You want it to be lightweight so you can have it always running from startup. Anytime I need a portion of the screen posted, I just hit CTRL+Shift+4 and I get a cursor to frame my shot. It also lets you choose formats, compression and keeps track of the Hyperlinks even after you cleared your clip-board.…
I'm in the process of tweaking and optimising my collision broadphase, so I can get on with working on my first game. I LOVE grids as a collision broadphase. With small enough grid nodes, you can get the amount of checks down as low as a quadtree, but with almost no overhead. The grid is so simple and so fast. It's 360…
worked on a bitmap comparison algorithm that returns a percentage threshold value of how equal 2 bitmaps are. The way it works is that it computes a difference Bitmap (exludes all pixels that are matching or inverts those that are on the same spot but in different values ) and then counts the sum of each color value as…
