    I was looking for a cheapish older version of 3D Studio Max the other day and came across Zoom-Zoom.info. Has anyone used this or a similar site before? It seems fishy, but I'm not quite sure if it is. If it's legit I'd be interested in using it.

    Max (2018) has a feature where the speed of the pan/zoom is context sensitive to what the mouse cursor is hovering over. It drives me nuts but can't find any options on it. I swear it wasn't a thing in earlier versions. Any ideas?

    Hi Polycounters! "Zoom on Mouse Cursor Region" -I think Photoshop does this by default, is there a way to enable it in Max? I've been searching Google etc but haven't found anything so far... (would be useful to have as it would mean not having to constantly switch to Pan etc). Thanks!

    I've been working with this landscape for a while and never had issues. I started playing with fog and the landscape started disappearing. It happens when I zoom into it. I don't know if it was the fog that affected but it's the only thing that changed. Any ideas on why is this happening?

    I can't zoom in too close without the mesh hiding itself. If I get too close its completely hidden. Is that normal? I don't remember it happening before.
