Wacom repairs vs money
My Intuos Pro Large has kicked the bucket, not all is lost though. I have 2 options, go DIY on this thing (It's only the USB puttering out) or Spend $60 money on freight and inspection and then probably $100+ on repairs. I agree with dii the tri count needs to go way way down in the treads/wheel. And floaters are definitely your friends. Not only does it lower tri count but 90% of the time it also greatly simplifies the modeling as well. Also it may be good to include tri counts rather that vert counts I know that 8-10k tris is a decent… -

Bugger the cost - buy it I say! A few setups Verstappen has raced with look kinda DIY in comparison but still seem to sharpen those skills for his day job. -

You don't want' to use any form of varnish in a medium, it's not meant for that and actually destabilises the paint even when it's dried. I used to help a fellow artist and picture restorer and some of the worst jobs we had were commonly as a result of artists using 'varnish' as their mediums - paint mixed with it… -
