ahh, so that's how its done.. yeah because i always wondered how to do it efficiently in maya. placing the pattern by hand seemed like a waste of time and you would have to be crazy to do it one by one. im have to download that script by Mop for maya. thanks for the very detailed tutorial! -

I had the acekardRPG for awhile, it made testing a breeze, since it had a built in usb-port, I could have the compile script just copy the fresh binaries to the built in memory after compile, since the usb would activate whenever the ds was shut down. but it broke :( , got an acekard 2 after that. -

Ack. Nasty nasty scripting. Slapstick pratfalling. Bad bad hideous. They've turned Mr Wonka into an idiot. It must be stopped now before its too late. As for Manson, he's busy playing the Queen of Hearts in the new Alice in Wonderland film, called Living in Neon Dreams. Should be an interesting one... -

First of all straighten those uvs. Have a look at Chuggnut`s tools on scriptspot, it`s a must really if you use Max. http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/unwrap-tools Polyboost can select loops/rings in the UVW window but I`m pretty sure there are free scripts for that task as well. -

Hmm, definitely gonna look into adding a callback through script. Seems a bit daunting though :P Kinda surprised this functionality hasn't caught on outside of Character Studio, where it's been a thing since at least the mid-2000's. It's such a quality of life improvement imo to be able to use FK and IK interchangeably… -

does anyone know whether it is possible to import/merge/open a 3d model file from a web address via maxscript? A Shortcuts Editor. The ability to set shortcuts we want to anything we'd like (viewport actions, tool selection, bring up active camera/skylight/render settings, workspace switching...). Ideally it would be nice to have some form of scripting too to automate certain actions, and assign those to a hotkey, if we wanted to.
