Just wondering if this revolver is modular, cause from what Ive heard all the weapons in the game are generated randomly. Nevertheless super nice work there.
Update: Finalized the environment. Here is the link: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/8eBZox --------------------------------- Hi everyone! I am finalizing this environment I did for CGMA's modular environment course. Any feedback is appreciated.
I've recently finished this scene I've done inside Unity. It is a modular elevator shaft. I focused more on the lighting of the scene as I wanted to achieve a cinematic look. Here are some screenshots:
Today I noodled around with the start of modular pipe system for the detail pipes: And I also threw together a first modeling pass for the upper windows:
I set up a vertex paint shader following the UDK Modular Masterclass from Eat3D and yeah it doesn't work. the problem is I can't seem to paint on to my mesh.
nice! keep at it. Your cobbles seem a bit melty/smooth, maybe the specularity map needs adjustment, I'm not sure. IMO rocks are really much more difficult to make than they seem; eons of geological history is required to make each rock. If you search for cobble there's a few good examples you can look at…
Work is continuing, although the "throne" itself is only blocked out somewhat. working to keep the pieces as modular as possible, with reusable components, but still enough variety.
