Found solution. Edit >> Duplicate Special (selecting the box that opens up settings for that) >> Edit >> Reset Settings And got it solved

to export the cage u need to use an editable mesh with an projection modifier in max for export. not an editable poly then this should work.

I've had that happen to meshes before, and I believe collapsing to editable mesh, and then back to editable poly has fixed it.

Are you sure there is no mesh named bip_hand_R in your scene ? Or an edit mesh/edit poly modifier on your bone object ?

No need to reset, ever. Just keep editing, because each new edit simply overwrites the existing. Also, no need for UVW Remove either.

Rather than making a brush, maybe do "edit>define pattern" and then just use "edit>fill" and use that pattern to fill the selected area?

Could u try... 1) Apply TurboSmooth with Iteration 0. Then collapse it to Editable Poly? 2) Apply Mesh Select and Edit Poly then try it.

In the rtt dialog make sure you have channel 2 selected. Also putting an edit mesh after editable poly might be the answer.
