Sweet man, Dig your characters as usual. Nice expression on the bottom one :) 30 min spitpaint from the theme "Ash Giant" Trying to focus on getting more depth and 3D.
Made this sketch for a 3d model i plan to make soon. (oversize image removed by moderator, original here: https://us.v-cdn.net/5021068/uploads/editor/fd/w7k21nlhrs96.jpg)
Neoncypher, how'd you do that with your finger? o_O I can't draw shit on my phone haha. Here's another character. Possibly going to make him in 3D for the Mixamo contest.
I got back into drawing pretty consistently after so long doing basically nothing. It's taking over the personal 3D projects I want to do, as with my 2D art I can just mindlessly doodle away after a long day doing 3D at work. But hey, got back into doing art a lot in my spare time which I never should have stopped doing,…
It will take entire day for me to draw and painting like theese . . I started learning 3d and realized as modeller, we need concept image to accomplish the model . . . . concept image = concept artist = good on drawing wow.....
hrown down some concepts, smashing alot of 3d though. Relaxing with 2d, maybe ill build these characters to take a break from my environments. some 2d relaxation, a redo of a previous work. it was erking me.
haha i pasted the names on there afterwards since they kind of reminded me of some of their trademarks. I`m thinking of doing a full 3d illustration from this and using them as reference as if it would be a real cg movie with them as voiceactors in it
Yes fightpunch so nice I love your style :) Daven, Nina L and all the rest... awesome stuff  Little dude from my side... need to get back to painting.. waay to much 3d work lately.. :/
I'm so glad polycount is taking this initiative. It's been an amazing place for 3D artists let's make this just as nice for 2D artists :) Here are some of my warm-up sketches: Amazing SSS on my orange. Masterstudy after Seignac Portrait warmup
Tacit: You ever thought about getting your stuff put on Tshirts? They'd sell like hot cakes! Another lunch lighting study... Just as every 3D artist has a barrel in their portfolio. Every 2D artist has at least one Apple.
