Starting to get closer to the feeling I'm going after with the lighting, and yay, I learned particle effects in CryEngine! Dust! Cockroaches! Lol.. Also, adjusted some props to absorb light better, adjusted composition, etc.. the reference...
Here's an update. Still not spec on anything but the tracks yet. Tips and comments about the general composition would be nice though. There's a lot of things on my fix list, but I would like your opinon about the piece in general.
Warby, super cool man. Love the color! As for the composition.. maybe a bright planet or something off to the top left? The right side with the bright green feels really strong. The dark blue doesn't pull my eye like the green does.
What's funny with that is I really like the first shot as the contrast of the man-made lights and the moon works really well. The second shot looks busy and bloomy to me even though it's the same lights and architecture. It's all about the composition I suppose...
Really nice work man! Not so sure about the slightly rotated camera in the overall composition. Make it feel a little bit more like a upgoing tunnel rather than a corridor, imo. Keep up the awsome work! Ha det gött! Tjo
Hey I have a question well 2 actualy and I hoping someone can answer quick .I am looking for a way to do fur and feathers so that it can be rendered with vray in maya ,Any suggestions.I am talking with standard vray ,with no converion to polygon or compositing .
Been working on my first mini environment in UDK for the first time...nice exposure to the engine and was a good experience. The result of my simple scene, there is definitely room for improvement from composition to quality with post processing as there really isn't any here, but I'm happy with the current result. :D
@Tobbo & MrNinjutsu : Maybe, didn't watch walking dead enough to tell, but still, the eyes are way too red imo. The model in itself is well done tho. @ZeroCartin : Really like the style, and the composition too. Reminds me a bit of journey, which ain't a bad thing :D
