Use much higher subdivision before you boolean and raise your dynamesh resolution maybe? You could also use one of the polish modifiers. I wonder how tight the edges are and if this is good for bakes?
BEAUTIFUL work aaron! Loving it icespade and disting! :) Blockout stage- dynamesh atm. Started with couple of cylinders and spheres. Just added alot of vascularity to give an idea of where its headed. He is going to be full of veins!!!
kk armour block-in done....using some of the techniques from mike jensens hard surface dvd and lotsa dynamesh...next up is re-topo of individual sections so that I can sculpt them up good and proper :)
@Ruz: Yeah, everything was made in zbrush except for a _VERY_ rough blockout of the body. Basicly it was a stick figure. I didn't really know about dynamesh and zspheres when I made it. x But the armor and sculpting of the body was made in zbrush.
needed a break from my anayomy study noticed the jagex art test and figured id do a zsketch :) ... i love how you can make total bullcrap basemeshes and just work with them now with dynamesh and qremesh :)
Cool stuff everyone! Here is somethign new from me: its dynamesh only. Planning to retopo and finalize. Inspired by Samwise Didier here is the original concept by Sam: http://sonsofthestorm.com/viewer.php?artist=samwise&cat=personal&art=52
I've discovered the Dynamesh and It really reconciled me with the Zbrush workflow, usually I almost only do Flat texture works! I'm still trying to add colors on this but I'm a bit stuck. Anyway if anyone have suggestions or feedback that's welcome! Thx !
lots of great work up here! those characters are great jamaica, hope to see them animated some day. here's a goofy zsculpt i did starting with a dynamesh sphere and then polypainted it. theres also a turnaround and sketch of him here http://www.ericspitler.blogspot.com/
love the anatomy on that chest/arms phanthanhtruc! Carver I really like the depth on that snow landscape, how do you maintain perspective or do you kinda guestimate like me? Just a sculpt to get back into zbrush and understand some of the features, dynamesh etc.
Here is a speed sculpt I just finished. I tried to record it but the file screwed up. First time using dynamesh aswell and really love it. Took me 1hour and 30mins, and here is a quick render with the image I based the sculpt on. Image is called Happy Kid :D
