high-poly beauty shot of my RGS-50M...just finished baking it and now gonna start texturing...thinkin on wether i should go with a unique color pallete with various decals and designs or go the realistic standard approach.....comments and critique are 100% welcome :D
ScoobyDoofus: She looks more realistic, but I kinda prefer the old version more. There was a lot more tension in her face and the oddities made her look interesting. She's fairly "generic" looking now. Might be worth pushing some of that back in? Especially around the eyes and brow.
Not finished, but since I will not have time anymore to achieve the work I call it done : The following is a school's work, I had to make a jeep car the most realistic as possible regardless the modeling but with a limit of 4500 tri. From the engine to the side mirrors. The target was the Playstation Portable (PSP).
Here is a model im making atm alongside many other projects, im trying to make a realistic head bust of a builder just to push myself. Sculpt is almost done now, he needs a set of teeth and throat, the straps round for the hat and some stiching on the yellow jacket thing that they wear.
Been working on a modular-ish UDK project with as few materials as possible, so I've been making some tilable mats for my props. One of them that has been a blast to fiddle with is bronze/patina'd bronze. WIP! Been badly needing some realistically textured junk to fill that hole in my portfolio...
When I first posted the gun without mushrooms a few days ago I got zero replies - I added mushrooms and posted and got plenty replies! Thats why! Seriously though: In our FPS we wanted to compromise between funky fantasy/sci-fi and realistic. Funky because its fun, and realistic because we thought it would be stronger to…
One of our guys built this scene to show off some of the features in the Verold Studio. The Apollo Lunar Module was downloaded from NASA's website, and we're using our material editor and skybox to construct a realistic lunar environment. Render below. You can see the 3D scene live in your browser at:…
guedin very cool! I like how youve done the fur and hair, stylised but realistic in some ways too. Love the character! On a tiny side note, the material going from her crotch over to her bum seems odd as it makes her crotch area look wide and hides her curves and kinda has the shape of a giant nappy.
Working on a sculpt of a tree stump, turned into a gnome house from Swedish folklore, kinda. Cool thing about this is that it'll probably be printed and turned into actual stumps of concrete to a childrens playground park thing here in Sweden :D Will post pictures when the concrete ones are done xD The shapes needed to be…
walreu: Sorry for late reply, thanks and hello, fellow countryman! :) hoenheim: I like the floor textures, they look very finished and I can imagine how it would feel like touching the surface. Ironmonkey: That zombie is very spooky and it looks pretty realistic and stylized at the same time! I think the bullet holes(?) on…
