Nick great concept! Love your style. Choco - i fall in love with your stylized landscapes, any special technic in creating such things? Do you generate a basic landscape, lets say, in vue or terragen, or everything is done from scratch? This is my final potemkin shot. I call it done:
Continued working on this guy's sculpt. Did a mock up of how the hair would look and have been working out basic details and proportions. Going for a strange stylization but so far I'm liking how it's looking. Still gotta do another pass and add in more muscles and get the existing muscles right.
Hmm, those are his legs? Personally I love deformed and stylized proportions but I think this has gone beyond believable, the lower and upper body don't seem to relate, from what I see of the upper body I expected the lower body to be at least a bit bigger and developed. If anything move the legs a bit towards the center.
Impressive stuff, keep up the great work everyone. Here's my fav thing I created today in the office(WIP). It's overpainted 3D weapon render I created earlier for a 2D handheld game. Weapons should be stylized, kinda like brink weapon textures + zombie apocalypse factor. I'm responsible for 20+ weapons, this is one of them:
luke, that's one good looking couch jramauri, even though you nailed the likeness (unless I'm dead wrong and this isn't Paris Hilton) the features you've emphasized seem arbitrary, at least I wouldn't say her most prominent feature is the forehead or hair although the face stylization is perfect IMHO. Execution is perfect,…
swizzle: thanks for the stained glass info. I've got two or thee large windows left to create and I'll keep that in mind moving forward. Here is the church that i have been using as reference, mainly for layout and structure so far. I am trying to keep the stonework and overall look more stylized. I'll post some images of…
peppi: Awesome work! really nicely stylized. What is the hologram in his hand? crosspost from my work in progress char, bakes done and some texturing. Still plan on visiting the body sculpt though, need to define the forms some more, add details and make the transition from his hand stumps to the guns more interesting.…
Feckin badass Hntrluc! Most excellent sense of mass on this guy. The anatomy's lookin real good but there are a few points that I think could use some work: The aponeurosis of the triceps (the single thick muscle that goes from the elbow and slips between/under the two triceps muscles on the upper back of the arm) should…
@Jeffro...lovin the style you did for your textures...makes me wanna learn stylized right now...but i better learn the fundamentals first! I decided to start working on a spyglass...hoping to make this as detailed as as clean-baked as possible WITHOUT photoshop touch-ups :3 my high-poly atm (light grey piece is still being…
@ Maph Thanks for the compliment :) I didn't recorded video of this one, but I did another short video of hair sculpting. Nothing special, frankly speaking. Only 2 brushes - ClayTubes and Standart http://vimeo.com/21102294 @ cw, Uly, thank you guys! ) Uly this is a little stylized sculpture but yes, it has some anatomical…
