Hi! I have a strange problem with marmoset. I made a retopo of my character in topogun and baked the maps in xnormals, when I tried the model in t-pose in marmoset all was ok, so I posed the lowpoly in 3dsMax with the CAT system and the skin modifier, collapsed the modifier and exported the model in fbx format and now when…
Thanks. So in Max speak, if I have one object that is comprised out of several elements, I can assign different materials to it in Marmoset? Is that right? That sounds like a good work around, but for the sake of vertex count, is it possible to use seperate materials IDs in Marmoset? I guess it doesn't really matter, as…
I think I'm having the same issue as TheDarkKnight. My editor looks like this but my F12 screenshot renders come out like this When I first installed Marmoset I kept getting the "Access Violation" error we so often get with out of date ATI drivers .. so I updated my drivers to the latest Feb version and Marmoset stopped…
Hi, Had marmoset since 1.02, always worked well, just updated to the latest version, now when i save out a screengrab my mesh is all watermarked. I have a full license, and marmoset confirms that when i go into the license info. any ideas, since this is annoying :)
@Mathew, No image sequence out of marmoset. Several of us already asked that to 8monkey labs, but from what I remember they didn't see why it was needed. With the 1.04 release I seem to be able to export smoother turntables out of marmoset ( and you can change your own background.) But no to the without background either.
just gave this a try after only having used the free marmoset toolbag from last year. some very cool improvements. :) question: is there any way in marmoset to just update the mesh/chunks by importing a new OBJ/FBX into a scene? can I avoid having to re-apply the materials somehow?
yes, even if .mesh is loaded and all textures, mats and objects are inside the marmoset directory, i still get the issue of missing .mats and incorrectly applied .mats whenever the scene is loaded. my project directory is marmoset toolbag/projects/name of project folder/all objects .mat and textures placed here
