Ha, ya. So many tools out there now. I did some searches and didn't find this type of tool, so I made one. Also I wanted to learn more about transform stuff and make the tool how I wanted.
...I'll just say it's hard to find fairly new PyQt versions with a working SQL module for 9 different versions of Maya....but I think I succeeded :) now I just need to convince our clients to stop using really old software...
I'm determined to find a way to make Active/Optical Camouflage as an opaque material setup - so something that would function on the horizon, doesn't quite hold up close-range. Got something like high-tech frosted glass so far :P
Little question: I want to assign a hotkey to the 'show end result on/off toggle' so I can switch easily between low and high poly in 'Editable poly mode'. But I can't find it in the list of hotkeys?! Any suggestions? I use Max 2011.

If you ever have the chance to tweak it further I would recommend having a slider for the sharpness of the shadow edge - I find sharper castshadows to be more sriking in general. Looking…
This is the script for Maya that makes it easier to select edges for sewing shells in the UV Editor. Just select one edge and run the script. The algorithm will find and select the edges required to sew the shell regarding to this edge. Also there is the second mode that at once sews shells together. To make it more…
