messing around with my ipad, i think its a nice little portable sketchbook, using the pogo stylus, not so much like drawing, but a lot like painting, or pastels.
A sort of Koala race i'll be modelling in the future, started with a base concept that i can draw some variations onto. Will be creating an environment later to fill a bunch of these little guys in. :)
I promise I did not try to match the BG of the forum In life drawing were doing self portraits and studying the skull and muscles, figured I'd try a reference-less doodle.
PixelGoat: that is amazing. Rendered in UDK or something? Jackwhat: Nice! I wish I could draw landscapes. I like the mix of colors, it adds plenty of large scale variation to the scene.
ae, what engine? Alpha blending is very expensive to draw in the correct order so I'll be interested to see what engine it is and how it looks when its all clumped together :)
To celebrate completeing all of my major projects for this quarter, I decided to draw and color a picture of one of my characters. This took about an hour, start to finish, and isn't perfect, but was fun and relaxing.
Woah that is a freak and crazy Ferg. It was a bit like one of the escher drawings to start with, I didnt notice the eyes, and it looked even weirder. We couldnt get it a bit bigger could we?
Turpedo, I really love this design but I'm not entirely feeling the transition to 3d. You have some really beautiful curved lines going on in the drawing and then then 3d seems really straight and linear.
I saw Massive Black's El Coro Concept painting preview, looked pretty cool. I'm bad at drawing and I've never done anything like this, but here's a gun concept I've been working on.
