Why the hell can i never do this, and where can i learn :( Followup question : What prog/brushes gave such nice textures in the some of those strokes? O_O
SuPa - thats nice but scary as hell. really nice anatomy on that arm, firebert:) Quick hardsurface sketch in ZB, trying to understand the basics of it before starting my next model
This page needed moar skull! Started as a simple proportions study but i enjoyed it so much i figured what the hell, skulls are fun! Most of the work was edgelooped in max, quick details n render in z.
Kite, that model is pretty damn sick. I will say I used to know guy who was a welder and even with wearing heavy-ass shirts, his arms were fucking beet red and jacked-up from the intense heat of the torch. She would be burnt as hell.
Disco, its things like that which make me wish I could put a GIF as my desktop background lol and uh... I dont know if you did it on purpose or not but I sure as hell hope you don't swing your arms like that when you walk.
I keep tweaking the proportions but for some reason the hips/legs won't stop bothering me. Pretty happy with the upper body though (except for the obvious lack of a head) Someone please give it a paintover or critique the hell out of it or something so I can figure out whats frustrating me :)
omg noice progress guyz, to szhark, i really love the cannon, its pretty polished cartoony texture :)! need to focus on one thing T_T..... :o i blame resonance of fate ..... dang ... and what the hell, its been 6 month i haven't touch my softimage xsi T_T
spacey: splendid little girls; the parasol one makes me go 'hell yes' chaosquack: but the outer ring is fine; not sure about the yellow; recommend less smudge xvamp: that is a fun illustration - do carry on! devin: ... yes pls. keep at it dudes, etc. /salute this should be in a sketchbook thread, but I'll feed the beast.
Devin Busha- thanks! Yup! for the lizard character i started in greyscale which i normally dont do actually. normally i pic crappy colors and color balance the hell outa them until i find a nice oclor scheme. Which i did do with this anyway. But after Greyscale with overlays of color. in Modo.
Not much to some of the eye candy ive seen but heres what im working on; The design shifted a little when i was blocking this guy out (2hours) (ft) (bk) Ive been recording everything ive done from the start to get a little workflow crit later on so that should be fun >___< Got a hell of alot more work todo anyway...
