Holi, your #7272 post illustration was really nice. Do you use several layers or paint it all on one? Never managed to paint like that. Stuck on line drawing... :(
What sort of tutorial did you have in mind? You want to be able to draw cubes and cylinders and other shapes in perspective so you can transfer that to more complex stuff?
Photo reference: http://www.flickr.com/photos/matthewadamslife/2967866586/ I never painted in photoshop from just looking at a pic, I think it turned out well, a hard pose to draw.
Cool drawing Fletch, but the real question here is...when are we going to get to see some more 3D from you? Would love to see that mount you did in 3d .
you might want to check out some ref of how the abdomen connects to the groin, because it's not really working right now. All it's doing now is drawing attention to it's self for being anatomically incorrect.
Why am I drawing all over myself like a gibbering mental patient? Hands! You might not see the relation in polys... but I've been concentrating on it all day and my head hurts :P
Good stuff Johny. I'm not a fan of all those beveled out dots though, as they're drawing my view and distracting me from the rest of the model. Hopefully when they're baked down they should be fine.
explosion animation lacks pop. First have it draw in on itself a bit, then have it explode outward MUCH faster. Pieces rapidly slow down and fall to the ground. It's very slow-mo-ish now and has no power in it.
Very nice nathan. Machine Pistol of the Future - Concept WIP I really need to work on my line work but, my hand just can't draw straight, flowing lines and Photoshop isn't too great for making them.
