Hey guys im having issues rigging this. I made a skeleton and weighted all of the vertices but when I move the skeleton the vertices at the bottom of my model act as if theyre not assigned to anything. Anyone have an idea what would cause this?
mod This is my first model from VFS. The assignment was to create a character from reference under 2500 tri’s. The final count for this model is 2466. There are a lot of issues with it but I tried my best to make it look good. Any feedback is very welcome!
A little lunch time assignment ive worked on the last few days, wanted to make something simple and fun so i made one of my favorite things, a World War 2 fighter. Im thinking about making more like a 109 and a Spitfire.
Sure M8! My update went up already. I separated the cloth from the beams of the wings cause it is on a different texture. So if you download the item again, you can now assign the right shaders to the right parts! Let me know if that works or if there are other issues.
Heh :D This reminds me of my school assignment only the restrictions there were 400 triangles and a 128*128 texture. It even had to have the same layout as you xD If you're wondering what it was, it's the lowpixel chocobo I posted earlier in this thread. :) What school do you go to?
I have been lurking on polycount since my professor introduced me to the site at the beginning of this semester. This low poly car was my first official assignment for the class and the textures were 'Frankensteined' together from various photographs online. I am hoping to complete hand paint my next model's textures. This…
Really? The SEGA Saturn was a console that could only handle quads. I believe triangles are used because for games, they're more efficient. Something like a rock could be represented with fewer triangles, whereas you would need more quads to match it. But I've also heard it's not even triangles that are important but…
Madpixel's stuff is superb, some of the best in the thread. I wonder why he stopped posting. creationtwentytwo - I think your megaman is pretty good actually. The main problem is the lack of UV space assigned to the face. I'm rubbish at UVing at the moment, my stuff has far more wasted space than yours ;) In fact I'd like…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2vZfKUUMkE&feature=youtu.be 183 polys - Legs are a little spindly but working on it. That or the shoulders/lower neck are too big. Animated in Blender - anyone know how to fix his knees or feet? The parent-child bond is a little bit angsty ;-) Is there a way to manually assign vertices to…
Harry Mason is Pyramid Head! - 626 tris This morning I wanted to do some organic modeling in low-poly, to show Polycount forum. Initially, only pretended to make a human body, but after I had the enlightening and great idea ... why not put a grotesque and sublime pyramide head? And so step I take my modeling one of my…
