more changes.. I'm trying to cut down on polys.. about 600 tris. Not to be a pain, but can someone give me some help with me Meshflow & loops? I'm really trying to understand it better..
Still trying to learn to model heads I think this first one was my best attempt: And now some ugly attempts: If you could hard critiq the anatomy and loops of the first one it would really help me
Practising head topology and edge loops. Really need some critics on this one: And also started creating my website. This is the first time i do something like this so some critics would also be good http://dferreira.planetaclix.pt/
fantastic stuff, people. here's an update from me: Concept [edit: not drawn by me] Quickly posed models lots more texture work to do on them, and i've been told to add more loops in the tail for smoother bending.
Hmm, for some reason EQ's pic isn't showing for me. I'd like to see it, unless it contains nudity (I can get my internet revoked for even the smallest thing....) I'll work on those loops, EQ, thanks
got some more stuff done on Dante. I'm going for a tekken 6 quality so tell me something looks mussed up. closeup: I think I'll have to add another edge loop arround the cheeks.
[ QUOTE ] great meshflow zcube, really clean ! texture this guy please, dont let him die with dust [/ QUOTE ] Agreed, although with the edge loops you have you could define the arms and front torso quite a bit more.
Head is pretty narrow. I'd say widen him up a bit. Eyes look a bit far apart as well. Looks like your a little too dense with the loops between the bridge and tip of the nose. Eyebrow ridges are a little sharp.
Here's another model that I am working on. I should have finished him by now. It was my first full character attempt at modeling. Mesh could have gone better, edge loops aren't right. Going to texture him and be done.
I'm planning on using this guy as a base for multiple versions, so if there's anything wrong, I'm all ears : ) Going to add another loop for the elbow, it looks like it wouldn't deform well. ... and yes, I did use Arsh's baseman for reference... a lot.
