I'm having the same problem. I JUST started a Jinx Illustration. Unfortunately, you can not use someone else's concept. This would be in essence working as a team and it is also not OK to use someone else's concept without permission.
So for the illustration we have to make a forum right? What needs to be in it? Just sketch progress until the finished product? Welcome to the community awied18. Yes, make a thread and start to post your progress. We love to see individual's process.
Hello ^_^ For illustration: Is it required to be a splash like the ones in the game? With one champion as a central focus point? Or can it be a picture depicting a scene, for example a multi-character fight scene, or even a picnic, without a 'main champion' as the focus? Thank you! :) It is up to you.
In the illustration category,my friend want to know is traditional art allowed? He say he wants to enter but thinks he doesn't stand a chance since he only draws on paper. As long as he follows the rules, traditional pieces are allowed.
Hi! I designed a fan skin for a champion two weeks ago. Am I allowed to make a splash art for him and submit that to the Illustration category? Are we allowed to do that? I'm seeing a lot of those in the progress threads. Thank you! Tony Yin Yes.
for Illustration . can i design a new champion from my imagination , or i have to design from champions in LoL You can make whatever you want. But keep in mind this is a League of Legends themed competition. It would be better to make something pertaining to League.
I've sent a wrong archive (one of the unfinished steps), can I submit the final piece of the illustration with the same name and you will consider the last archive I send? Just resubmit your entry and we will see both of your entries and determine what date is the latest version.
Hi, for the illustration part, when you stated ; "This image should tell a story about something unique or powerful about the champion(s)" do we need to actually write the story / lore of the champion alongside the drawing of the champion we chose? Thanks No writing. The image should convey storytelling.
Is scanned traditional work accepted?, or does it have to be pure digital? I am assuming you are asking about the illustration portion of the contest. You are allowed to use traditional media. Having a piece with great dynamic anatomy, storytelling and rendering would still be eligible for winning the contest even if it is…
I saw somebody else ask this but am also wondering about recommendations for height in the illustration category, i.e. 3000px-?px. What size do riot employees use for their working files in terms of splash art? 7000 x 4130 is what we use internally and then scaled for the end result.
