Always worth storing your art in more than once place. Artstation, personal website, cgsociety and facebook updates. More exposure never hurts :). http://www.artstation.com/artist/Baj_Singh
I posted the suggestion to have smaller tiles on ArtStation and the developers have been really responsive and now changed it. They also posted what the new changes actually now mean in their forums:
Well, not really. My "problem" is exactly the opposite: I found that getting exposure in Artstation is extremely hard, and the only people getting views and interacting with others are the top notch (front page). This makes sense if we understand this community as a place for skilled professionals, but it's a shame that…
So after checking it out, I decided to join ArtStation as well. Thanks for suggesting the site. I've just started posting work but here's my link http://www.artstation.com/artist/jzak
I'm looking for an invite for some time now, since I would like to join ArtStation. I would very much appreciate it if you could send me one. rabitagore67@gmail.com
I checked out Artstation, looks cool and easy to use. Lots of great art up. However, the highest "trending" images only have like 300-400 views and 5 likes. That kinda blows.
Got invite from WarrenM, thanks bro! Now im one of the cool kids too! My artstation: http://walreu.artstation.com/ Just curious, why they dont have categories for traditional art and photography on the Artwork page?
I'm really loving the Marmoset Viewer. Seems to be public now, though I might be late on that one. Linksies! Got an update to Marmoset which let me create viewer files, and Artstation had it as a regular upload option.
How can I submit something from my marmoset 2 to artstation? Seems rather odd that information isn't being mentioned a loud anywhere for those (like myself) seeing all these marmoset uploads take place.
Having your own space is a good idea but there's also a ton of value in being part of a discoverable community like cghub or artstation ... the odds of someone wandering into your solo site are less than stumbling over your art on a community site.
