Here's a Mass Effect Krogan sculpt i've been working on. My big goal for this year is to try to finish some projects. So i've really been trying to push this guy, but i'm getting to the point in a sculpt where I start to struggle a bit. Cheers.
Finished my character project, Fem-Thief, based on Thief (2014). I have some more WIPs on my artstation if anyone wants to see: http://www.artstation.com/artist/PaulP Thanks for the support from all the polycounters who helped me push this project further! :)
so much cool stuff in here!! :) here are my recent practice results: first time I made a female body. Feedback on what to pay attention to next time is much appreciated! Also worked on this viking sword (for the spitsculpt group). maybe I gonna push it further.
If you hadn't labelled those, there is no way I would have been able to identify more than a hand full of those expressions. You should really push the expressions more. Even a "realistic" style of character needs to be a lot more expressive than that. Look at this guy. He's not even going crazy with anything, he's just…
hey whats up been working on this skeleton warrior for almost a week now. I am happy with my progress. Need to fix his should blades and make them bigger and straighter and need push his head back refine the back of his head give it more volume.
Happy 2014 Polycounters. Some amazing work already, I'm loving the skill level and how its pushing everyone constantly. I've been really busy with work lately but managed to get some personal practice in on some textures today. This one I posted for some crits:) Thanks
It uses vertex paint masks, blue channel is for move amount, green for push amount and red for interval. So through the red it looks like the pieces of the burger are moving independently but it is also important for the other pieces, like the wave movement on the steak. Here is how the burger vertex paint looks like:
i can understand where your coming from, i was mostly working to the style of Warcraft female orc, and they are quite a pretty resemblance of an orc, from what i can see anyway. But i do completely agree with you, i do need to push it more! thanks for the crit! much appreciated:)
Good evening polycounters! Some lovely work going! Nothing out the ordinary there! Picked up work on a project Ive had going in the background and had some time to dust it off and push it on. Custom Nissan Skyline R34 GTR, Z-Tune inspired. Currently HP at the min! C+C welcome :)
@iammalte thanks! Iam not sure about the rendering..looking at it a few hours later I even like the zbrush screengrab more than the renderings :D not sure if I am going to push him further..it was just some zbrush doodling. any feedback what I could do better next time? :)
