I believe your issue here is because your input for the normal_to_height node is not on the "H and V Tilling" setting in tilling mode. You can insert a Transform2D node to override the tilling mode if you want.
Hello! Just wanted to share a node that I'm currently working on. I never liked placing shapes, like bolts and such, manually so I made a node that does it for me Question: I want to be able to offset the pattern based on rotation but I can't set the rotation as a variable and have the position offset access it. I'm…
Hey guys, here's my newest set of nodes, let me know what you think ! Signed Distance Fields https://gum.co/2dSDF I drew the SD logo with SDF nodes, then colorized the resulting distance field 16 SDF Shapes Nodes A rectangle and a circle SDF combined with a smooth transition Tracing the combined SDF with a gradient,…
First off, Wesm that looks AMAZING! Can't wait to try everything out! :) always pumped for updates. And as for my color blend problem, here are the results I got after testing out some of the suggestions: So here I have tried my original method, as well as an Add and two different kinds of multiply. Just to make sure it's…
Theres another difference: that levels node. The one in the tutorial looks a bit darker and with less contrast, that's why the B&W Spots node looks darker and has less contrast. Try playing around with those levels.
You can indeed use 4 "Splatter" nodes (with different"Random seed" values), then combine them using "Blend" nodes in "Max" blending mode. Another way to do it is to use a fxmap (and do it in the functions); that's how we did to create the splatter node. I made a small example you can download here, hope it helps:…
I have small question, does the position slider in the Histogram scan node and the level in low slider in the levels node basically do the same thing? Im confused as to which one is better to use for creating damage transitions.
All the atomic nodes by default will apply their effect to make the result repeatable. You shouldn't have to worry about that. If you want to check the tilling, simply hit "space" inside the 2D view. It will tile the current node view. :)
