Improviz and i collaborated on this one. Made some custom particles for it but i cant get the it to stick with the default attachmentpoint. It just clings to the root for some reason when i try to preview it in the test build. Working on some more concepts that could make this theme a set.
Hmm... thanks for the heads up. I skimmed over some posts and missed the bug currently in the workshop. I'll stick to your advice. But man, there's quite a few issues with the workshop. Creating and submitting an item is already quite intimidating even if everything would work smoothly >_<
There's no official way to upload particles so we're just sticking them in the .rar file generated by the Dota 2 Test client importer (Because main client is still broken). We have the particles working in the test client though when you play the game.
Just going to double post here, I know a lot of people have asked about limits in this thread and not everyone will go to all the links posted, but there ARE limits and it's important that you stick to them, so you don't end up having to go back to change things >_>
No idea but I hope he sticks around, I'm absolutely floored by that set, it's fucking incredible. It's bittersweet as I believe it completely blows my Ezalor set out of the water but hey, more incredible artists and incredible items for a game we all love? I can't complain.
@mihalceanu ehi man, you may be right with the shield... when I tested in engine yesterday was feeling a bit too deep. I think I will try to adjust the lowpoly so that the back of it is more concave and the arm can stick more in it. Thanks for the comment and nice Spear tip ;)
i saw your prev. post, i really can't figure out what i'm doing wrong, i've got all the file names right, i matched with the vtf, still cant get those textures to stick. @eleryn, have you tried resetting your transforms?
Grats to those of you who got stuff in! Considering the new chests are direct buy and not dropping in-game I wonder if they'll stick to only 1-2 per month. It's going on 7 months for me not getting anything into the game at this point. I'm going to be forced into retirement pretty soon.
@Mark.N Quality work. What do people feel about going outside the color schemes setup by the original items? I feel like that is limiting. Are we able to go outside those schemes and has anyone had anything accepted that isn't sticking to what it already laid out?
Yeah, I have been using alphas atleast for the masks all this time. Tried setting up alphas for the color and normal aswell, but got the same results as before This is the best result I've got so far, but it still sticks out very much. Also, the differences in the mirroring is still there.
