Hey, here in Montréal we are building a brand new team with Cloud Imerium games and Turbulent to work on Star Citizen (tech art, env art, concept art) join us ! https://turbulent.breezy.hr/
Hi! My name is Raphael and im looking for Freelance Gigs. here area few samples of my work: if you like my work simply drop me an email or a pn in this forums cheers, raphael
I guess most of the stuff there..that was important were the references you know.. gigs of conceptart and shit. and programas and lots of tutorials.. but those i can downloaded later.. My work was safe tho' on another place :)
the work environment = someone giving you a deadline to finish your work. If you're in a creative rut just pick some concepts off the internet, give yourself a deadline and make it. http://www.warhammeronline.com/conceptart/index.php
I thought that I'd bring some of my doodles over here from conceptart to get some crits C: This is a little dragon I pulled out of my head (should have used some ref)
well artbook exists, but hard to get I believe, comes with collectors edition they have the digital version on the european site http://allods.gpotato.com/?m=media&a=conceptart seems like it's not full (can't verify, pictures not loading for me)
I like it. Though what about bi-monthly? Between projects and such, even a month might be pushing it for some. That and I like not making it a competition. More often than not, Conceptart, the winners are the most popular, versus what is the best work.
Start drawing as well if you can. It will really help reading conceptart when you better know what the artist was thinking with his lines. And even if there are areas you don't understand you will be better equipped to fill them in yourself.
heather the 'i will report you' girl i tried studying 'conceptart' as they call it when i paint from example it looks nice somehow that stuff doesnt seem to be transfering over to my other work ... i wonder if im missing something anyways go crazy
Try out some of the WAR concept art. It's fun to make and works great for getting people work. http://www.warhammeronline.com/english/media/conceptArt/ As long as you credit the artist, most are ok with using their concepts. It doesn't hurt to ask first either.
