This! Spec maps are slowly becoming a thing of the past! Gloss maps (aka roughness maps) are all we're gonna need in the near future! And I can't fucking wait. http://www.marmoset.co/skyshop
I'm going to have to second what BagelHero said. Instead of planning on doing fabric studies sometime in the future, you should find good reference and then make this your first fabric study! :)
I was wondering if you had a portfolio site with additional samples of your work? I will have a need for a character artist in the near future and your work does stand out from the rest.
nope, no support for crytek. We looking into it and the only way we can get it implemented would involve changing the workflow significantly. It is something to consider in the future but would be way too confusing for release.
Hey, thanks for replying! I was thinking that about the face as well once I finished, but it's good to hear it from someone else too, it'll encourage the pushing in future projects, so thanks!
im pretty happy with the added geo, don't think i need to go overboard with more though just roughed up some normals for the walls, will still be adjusting them in the near future
Don't think so, maybe for some render will try it Well, since this is going for a videogame, I'm going to texture it more in a realistic way, but that was an awesome idea I'll do for sure in a future environment!
Thank you for all your responses. This position has been filled. To all artists I haven't responded to, I have kept a record of your talents and may call on you in future.
Go down to element mode and or vert mode and click unhide all (in edit poly). I'm not really sure what that happens or how to avoid it in the future, but that usually brings them back for me.
probably not really worth it for me as it's quite expensive, I have too few products for it to be really worth it, but I got a good deal so I took it as a test and an investment for future products.
