You can use a mask. Paint on your design (over the cloth folds) then reverse the mask and inflate, or sculpt the design over the fold details. -

to be honest, to me it just looks like your sculpting on your clothes is muddy. But I'm also glad people haven't forgotten about D ^_^ -

Looks great. The plate shoulder seems really out of place in my opinion though, especially just sitting there on top of the big cloth overcoat.
