This is what I'm working on currently which I'm calling "Graveworm". This is part of the literal band name series that started with Orange Goblin. I've had this sketch for awhile and only now am I revisiting it. The pencil sketch is old but the rest of the wips are more current. Any critiques are welcome of course either…
Seriously fucking AMAZING work! I have had some of your WIP shots just on my desktop all day because its so fucking cool. The broken parts of his arm and face, the material definition and the look/expression of his face. Perfect!
Little update, still blocking all the parts in. I'm kinda at a stand still cuz I feel like it doesn't say 'arcade' enough. Though when I get to texturing and putting some patterns and whatnot maybe it'll look more arcade-y
Thank you for the feedback! I'll definitely include the weapons in the next set, that makes a lot of sense now that I think about it - since they are a big part of her silhouette too! I love the idea of the witch hat on her back :)
Yeah, I staked some, but not enough. In my head it seemed necessary to have as many unique parts as I could, but when I made the final texture it didn't really make a difference. I'll keep that in mind next time.
Thanks Torch! yeah, i used dynamesh for some of the parts, mostly just sketched them on quite sloppily and then just retopoed them and added creasing to tighten the edges. Then some hpolish and trim dynamic :) Quick update for the ghosty girl
