At fist glance I couldn't really tell the layers of the armor of that makes sense? For example I thought that the helmet was just one piece, not having layers of like gold plating etc. But when I looked at it again on full resolution I could see it. So it doesn't matter. :) -

Ah, wasn't aware of the position offset. this will come in handy. And of course, GOZ! Thanks M4adcow, so simple, yet I didn't think about it. So I can just GoZ it back in, with a Layer recording, and I will have a layer with the same explode as in Max :) This is by far the easiest! Thanks! -

Character is opened in 3D xchange and then export the body as an .obj file so the base can be used as our model to create clothes on it in zbrush. -

Thanks for the feedback, at second glance I completely agree with it. So, action : I increased the overall roughness, changed the sharpness of the rust, added a wider layer thin rust plus a bit more colour variation on the rust. I also upped the roughness of a couple of my dirt layer. -
Re: Materials not carrying over to other map folders
I've had issues where some layers simply disapears in some components, but you can still see your layers under all components? As it is suppose to work you can change reflectivity and blending mode individually for each component, but the dynamasks should be applied on alla of them. -

And similarly, I sometimes use parts of the PSD in creating a new texture. For instance if I really like the way a grunge layer worked out I might copy and paste that layer onto a new texture. The new texture is still completely different from the old one though... -

Made uv and baked some maps, here you can see ao diffuse only, no lighting. there are some baking errors, but it will be easily fixed later. -

Did you mean Curves? Anyway an easier method is to just double-click the overlay layer and untick the "b" box. Anywho, you should also go onto your muscle layer normals and remove wasted space with levels on each individual R, G, & B channel. -
